It is a great time to be a developer. There are tons of opportunities available for winning cash and prizes if you enjoy trying new technologies. Last year we received a free Blackberry Playbook in the mail from RIM’s Android app creation competition and also received a free Logitech Google TV device during Google’s product offering competition to small businesses. We also won the SONY Create a Dash app competition with an innovative application we created for a client. This year there are even more competitions sponsored by government and private organizations looking for innovative uses of their API’s by progressive thinking entrepreneurs and developers.
